Can you imagine this:  You sip coffee on the couch while a beautiful, delicious, breakfast cooks itself in about 20 minutes?  There’s bacon, too!  I’m serious, this is how we roll.  Every. Single. Saturday.  5 minutes to prep, 5 minutes to clean-up.  It is the Easiest Weekend Breakfast EVER!  Saturday mornings at our house start with the most difficult questions, “what kind of fruit should we put in our Dutch Baby Pancake?” and “Bacon or sausage?”  Fresh fruit usually wins, but frozen fruit works just as well during these winter months.  We all unanimously vote for bacon, of course!

The Easiest Weekend Breakfast EVER!

It’s simple.  Ready?  Here we go…

Preheat the oven to 400F.

Take a few sips of coffee.

Put the bacon on the rack and set it in the oven (here are the complete instructions).

Next, put the cast iron pan in the oven with some butter to melt, then mix up the other ingredients in the blender.  Pour the batter in the pan, sprinkle with fruit, put back in the oven, and set the timer for 20 minutes (here for the recipe).

Take your coffee to the couch and snuggle up with a sweetie.

This has to be the best possible way to start off a weekend, right?  I truly hope you enjoy this easy-peasy breakfast, let me know how it goes!
