This is my guilt-free version of a “ranch” dip. The key to this recipe is to punch up the flavor with lots of fresh herbs and lemon zest, instead of fats. I like to pair it with foods that are decadent, like my Fried Green Tomatoes or hot wings!
Because of my small children, I had to modify the “spicy” factor. I use granulated garlic instead of fresh and omit the hot sauce. This is their favorite dipping sauce, and doesn’t make me cringe if they end up just spoon’in it down.
See how delicious this healthy ranch dip looks on a zucchini fritter?
Go on, give it a try! Be creative with the herbs you have around, you may never go back to the other stuff.
